World of Tomorrow: The Tomorrowland that Never Was

It seems every day we learn another abandoned Tomorrowland Concept. Well, this might be the most intriguing yet.

A recent interview with a leading Imagineer, who seeking to remain anonymous has gone under the pseudo-name Outboundflight, recently broke news of yet another Tomorrowland renovation concept.

"We were put into three group, which we nicknamed the Warriors, Princes, and Supers. I was on Warriors. We were the group chosen. But eventually the higher-ups decided to prioritize on Galaxy's Edge, which I don't blame."

"Outboundflight" further provided evidence in an enlightening PDF, which you can find here.

This may just be the most intriguing of the Tomorrowland overhauls. It was designed to replicate the future of the 1950s: in the same manner Discoveryland in Paris replicates the future of the late 1800s. "This would be the way Walt himself imagined the future", Outbound said.

It's so fitting to look back at the beginning, all this time later, from before Outbound betrayed me and stopped posting... now I have to review this "snack stand". Hopefully it tries something new, because it doesn't get much more boring than snack stands...
